Though there are hundreds of sketchbooks out there, most really aren\u2019t very suitable. <\/span><\/p>\n

Either the paper is designed for watercolour and is really rough, or it\u2019s smooth (so better for realism) but it buckles when you apply paint. \u00a0It\u2019s annoying!<\/span><\/p>\n

So here\u2019s my guide for what to look for when choosing a sketchbook which works best with my watercolour method,\u00a0<\/span>and<\/span><\/i> I\u2019ll show you a few examples of books I\u2019ve tested:<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
