How to paint a realistic watercolor squirrel
Red squirrels are a much-loved woodland creature. Their fluffy fur and rusty colour makes them a really fun subject to paint.
So in this mini class, I’ll show you the process I followed when I painted a realistic watercolor squirrel.
You’ll see the different techniques I used to paint the long, fluffy fur, the shorter fur, the fine whiskers and the shiny eye
If you enjoy painting wildlife, I think you’re going to love this watercolor squirrel. Take a look:
I really hope this video has given you the confidence and inspiration to paint your own realistic watercolor squirrel.
Please leave a comment below if you’ve enjoyed this mini class. Hearing from you inspires me to keep creating!

Hi Anna. Thank you for the video. I am a member of your school and your painting is second to none. My only sad problem is I find it to hard to follow your lessons because I cannot see the line drawing.. I am trying to come up with an answer to this problem as you have sooo many lovely paintings in your school that I would love to paint. . HELP IF YOU CAN SUGGEST SOMETHING. .🌹

Hi, Anna,
Do you offer gift certificates? I wondered if I could purchase a beginner’s class for my adult daughter. She has not painted before, but I think she would like your demos..
